Join us in Celebrating the Installation and Dedication of ‘Koan’ by sculptor, Bruce Johnson

On Saturday, April 5th, 2025 from 12:00pm – 1:00pm the City of Sebastopol and Sebastopol Public Arts Committee welcome you to join us in celebrating the installation and dedication of the ‘Koan’ sculpture by late Sonoma County sculptor Bruce Johnson (1947-2023).

This opening ceremony take place at the Joe Rodota Trailhead at Highway 116 (across from Hopmonk).

There is available parking on the street or in the parking lot near Hopmonk. Cycling and walking is encouraged!

There will be remarks by members of the Public Arts Committee, Sebastopol Mayor, and Johnson’s family.
