Information and Resources from PG&E and Sonoma Clean Power to Help Monitor and Manage Energy Use and Bills

PG&E rates are adjusted every January 1st based on regulatory approvals. While electric rates will roughly remain the same (slight decrease), gas rates will increase. Gas rates are primarily driven by the previously approved GRC (General Rate Case: proceedings used to address the costs of operating and maintaining the utility system and the allocation of those costs among customer classes) and balancing account true-ups. There is currently limited information available about the gas rate increase (December 30, 2024).
