Laguna Pedestrian Bridge Scheduled to Go Up May 15th

When the seasonal floating bridge goes up, summer can’t be far behind, but we’re not quite there yet. Everything is based on when the rain stops and the trails dry out enough to be driven on. If Mother Nature cooperates, Public Works plans to install the bridge on Wednesday, May 15th. In the meantime, The Laguna de Santa Rosa Wetlands Preserve may be accessed via trailheads on Occidental Road and on Highway 12 (next to the Chevron station).
