Gravenstein Apple Fair Coming Up August 12th & 13th

August 10, 2023, City News

Sonoma County Farm Trails is hosting their Golden 50th Anniversary Annual Gravenstein Apple Fair on Saturday, August 12th and Sunday, August 13th from 10:00am until 6:00pm each day at Ragle Park in Sebastopol.

This great event will likely draw big crowds over the weekend which will significantly impact traffic in the area of Ragle Park. Folks are encouraged to avoid the area if they are not attending. If not attending, use alternate routes avoiding Covert Lane between Ragle Road and Healdsburg Avenue (Highway 116), Ragle Road between Mill Station Road and Bodega Avenue, and Valentine Avenue between Ragle Road and Murphy Avenue. Fair attendees are encouraged to park elsewhere and walk to the venue, use public transportation, or to use good old-fashioned ped power (walking or bicycling) to get to the venue.

Free satellite parking and shuttle buses are available. Satellite parking lots are at Holy Ghost Hall (7960 Mill Station Road, Sebastopol) and O’Reilly Media (1005 Gravenstein Hwy N, Sebastopol). Two free shuttle buses run all day during fair hours. Shuttle service will commence at 9:45 AM both days. The final shuttles will leave the park each evening at 6:15 PM. We highly encourage carpooling.

No pets are allowed in the shuttles. Only service animals are allowed on the grounds and in shuttles. Emotional support animals are not permitted. Please do not leave animals in parked cars.

Be sure to read the Parking info on the Gravenstein Apple Fair website before you set off for the Fair.

Thanks to the Sebastopol Police Department for traffic management at the entrance of the fair.

Please enjoy the festivities, have fun, and stay safe and hydrated!
